Deep is looking for a web designer to start work immediately on an ongoing project for a major national brand. The contract is either for; from now, till the end of July or if you are looking for full time we would consider taking you on permanently. You need to have a proven track record and able to demonstrate work on big brand sites. Nov 2007 - Deep refresh Morgan's Identity
Prestigious British car manufacturer, Morgan Motor Company, have worked with design agency, Deep, to refresh their well-known 'wings' identity along with supporting material such as range brochures, website and creative guidelines. Marketing agency, Liquid Communications, provided the brand positioning for the project.
The new wings will be used on future range of cars from 2010. Deep carefully considered the impact of changing the logo and have managed to successfully reflect the luxury status and forward thinking of the brand whilst maintaining the craftsmanship and rich, traditional heritage of the company.
The range brochures and website use bespoke photography, shot and art directed by Deep, that reflect the English heritage associated with the cars. Future work will include material on the run up to Geneva and the launch of the LifeCar in 2008.

We need a lively and flexible studio manager to manage our busy creative studio.
Duties will include control of all day to day accounts including client invoices.
Recording expenses & receipts, controlling expenditure and profit.
General smooth running of an office plus providing general PA duties for the two directors.

3-4+ years professional experience designing HTML and Flash- based web sites.
Exceptional ideas and clarity in your designs which illustrate a response to the client's needs.
Experience working directly with top companies.
Experience dealing with internet-specific design considerations: WIA Compliancy, cross-browser compatibility, content management, interactivity etc.

May 2007 - Web Developer
Deep has moved to new offices in Waterloo overlooking the London Eye and is expanding again. We are looking for a web developer to join our team. Reporting to a team leader who oversees web based projects.
Deep is a multidiscipline design agency that covers all areas from corporate branding projects to single web-site development projects, we develop sites using LAMP and have also developed our own in-house CMS and code base that is very extensive and is all object orientated.
What we are looking for;
A developer, that has extensive knowledge of a LAMP based environment - that is trained using object orientated programming skills. That has a proven track record in corporate sites / agency work and can work in team. You must have good communication skills both with your team members as well as the rest of our staff. We really want somebody that wants to stay and grow with the business - you'll have plenty of opportunities to add to the business.
Type of projects;
This can range from completely new sites that need full project management (via our senior staff) that have many functional apps integrated, some come from our existing code base others are coded from scratch or we may tie in some third party software. Or it could be a simple template based site that has a simple CMS. We do like to push the technology if we can and it's reliable. A lot of our sites use a mix of technologies from an underlying LAMP base with a mixed front-end of CSS and Flash in XHTML, all our sites tie into our CMS.

Feb 2007 - Whole Foods Market
To count down the opening of Whole Foods Market at Kensington High Street, Deep have designed 21 window graphics based around the brand's personality and the quality of it's products. The messaging, all communicated through bespoke imagery has real presence on the High Street. The project was created alongside marketing agency Liquid Communications.
Feb 2007 - Veuve Clicquot
Deep were commissioned to design an integrated campaign based around The 2007 Season, a luxury guide promoting traditional and contemporary events for this well known brand. As well as the guide, Deep have designed an advert, distributed throughout publications such as Tatler, GQ, Vanity Fair, Wallpaper and Harpers, as well as a luxurious website, www.clicquot-season.com, that provides event dates, exclusive event information and luxury tips.

At the recent 12th annual London Club & Bar Awards supported by Evening Standard, Best New Bar was awarded to Absolut Ice Bar. This fantastic bar carved from solid swedish ice opened in October and has been a massive success, combining their chilled ice bar with the opulently stylish restaurant area, Below Zero. Deep are very proud to have been part of their success, designing their website & graphic material.

Since completing the recent re-branding exercise for our client Arenson, they have won a £1m+ contract with the Telegraph group to supply them with new office furniture. This is fabulous news for them and we are very confident that their new image and website will continue to be hugely profitable for them.

We are currently well under way in the total rebranding for Arenson, leading office furniture manufacturers. We put a comprehensive package together to cover all areas of their business. By updating the colours and modernising the typeface we have produced a clean fresh look to move their business forward. We will soon be adding Arenson to our portfolio section.
Nov 2005 - deep shine
‘Beautifully understated and unquestionably elegant’ is how the judges described our work for The Ritz Magazine in this year‘s Magazine Design Awards. Ritz, published by Spafax, won the prize for Best Use of Typography for the second time and was a finalist in the Best Customer Magazine. Other winners included GQ, Grazia, New Scientist and Architects’ Journal.

We have just put live a complete overhaul of our web site with a fully updated and current portfolio.
Over the past year we have worked on many new and varied projects for clients including "The Ritz London", a restaurant with the same name as ourselves called "Deep" and the fashion label "Crombie". Our clients are from different market sectors such as the retail development "Bullring Birmingham" and Europe's leading security company "Norbain". We have also completed rebrands for giants such as "Campbell Reith" and "Boss Design".
Our website design and development has led to us completing our own Content Management System (CMS) that is fully portable and extendible, built using XML on a platform of PHP and MySql. This means we are now designing and building sites that are AA compliant with the Disabilities Discrimination Act and are very "Google" friendly.

We have just completed a new identity for our namesake Deep Restaurant and Bar in Chelsea - the latest collaboration by the team behind The Aquarium.Our concept used graceful and ethereal sea creatures to establish a theme for the seafood restaurant which has been used on menus, stationery and press brochures.

Nov 2004 - Deep Impact
Intrepid Security were looking to achieve maximum impact at the high profile IFSEC 2004 NEC exhibition. Our solution was to design a custom made stand, which had strong branding throughout and incorporated product display units, plasma screens, interactive consoles, a bar, as well as a live demonstration of SmartTrack, the world's only travelling CCTV system.
